Minimalist and innovative, the Ayana collection opens a new chapter in the story between B&B Italia and Naoto Fukasawa, based on wood, presented in an unusual way with a pleasant oriental flavor. If the depth and height of the elements clearly correspond to the traditions of the countries of Southeast Asia, then the backrest is like a Swedish wall, which turns from a sports equipment into a load-bearing element. Thanks to this solution, the elements of the Ayana collection are aesthetically pleasing from any angle, revealing on each side a new elegant play of intersections and proportions. The sofas, presented in two- and three-seater versions, and the armchair are made with armrests of different heights. The armrest of the chair is higher for increased ergonomics. The lower armrest of the sofa can be combined with an easily installed and removable cushion that allows you to lie down if desired. The upholstery is characterized by the use of single cushions with waterproof fabric covers. Ayana's warm minimalism is complemented by a chair, dining table and low table. The chair is made in the style of other pieces of upholstered furniture, together with which it creates a wonderful family comfort, and has a natural teak structure with a round section and two fluffy cushions, covered with fabric. The table is made with an oval top in serpentine, a typical Alpine stone. The supporting structure made of natural teak, despite its apparent lightness, is incredibly strong and can withstand bad weather and significant weight. The low table also features a natural teak round structure with a serpentine table top. The large sizes are designed to create a pleasant festive atmosphere also outdoors. Ayana is a sustainable project. The teak used for the construction is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified, and all materials from which the various elements of this series are made can be separated and recycled at the end of the product life cycle.
