The Cutter is a new chair by Mario Bellini with a powerful decisive aesthetic, creating a new type of seating. The back of the chair is made with a slit, paying tribute to the great artist Lucio Fontana. Obviously, the Cutter is not only special about the aesthetic choice, but also about creating an unprecedented type of seating. The double ends of the backrest are functional and comfortable when seated upright, and can be independently moved, allowing the seated person to turn to the side. This allows you to comfortably communicate with the person sitting next to you. The chair provides comfort and freedom of movement, allowing you to tilt to one side, covering the back with your hand.The seat frame is made of metal and strap and is softened by the use of classic polyurethane filling. To ensure the elasticity and strength of the double backrest, the B&B Italia Research and Development Center opted for an innovative spring steel bar. Padding and padding completely envelop the chair in thick embossed leather, creating the perfect union of softness and rigor, accentuated by saddle stitches. A central recess reveals a refined black thick saffiano leather interior, as if the soul of the Cutter is protruding from this crevice.Specifications
