The new Pacific collection, designed by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso creates intimacy in the almost "protective" seat, for an enveloping idea of comfortable relaxation. With its round and oversized shapes, it evokes the relaxed and relaxed atmosphere of the American West Coast, from which it takes its name. Pacific is the continuation of the design process begun with the iconic Redondo collection designed by Patricia Urquiolan in 2010. "It is the evolution of a collection that has had and is very successful in recent years also for the innovative and luxurious use of surface finishes" , says Patrizia Moroso, Art Director of the company. "With Pacific, on the other hand, we worked more on the shape in the plan and on the current return of curved and generous lines". In the Pacific sofa the soft shapes are enhanced and defined by the total absence of edges and by the “couture” details.
