The Gemma collection has evolved around the idea of contrast and the experience that comes from the perception of a shape. The sharp asymmetry of its three-dimensional geometry contrasts with the softness of its padding. Its faceted profile evokes both a precious stone and the typical compositions of Italian tapestries of the fifteenth century. The collection is representative of the synergy between the complex geometries of Libeskind and the well-known know-how of Moroso. Libeskind was deeply inspired by natural geological forms: crystals, gems, natural rock formations. For the Moroso collection, the design incorporates the asymmetrical facets of gems and has a dual meaning: to create a sculpture for the home or office and to connect with Libeskind's work. Non-deformable fire-retardant polyurethane foam in different densities with internal structure in resin-coated polystyrene. The Gemma collection is not removable.Specifications
